Deliziosi Spaghetti Carbonara with Tasty Italy broth base 🧀

Italy loves it, Hollywood loves it and we especially love it: Spaghetti Carbonara. As Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson prove in the film "Heartburn", carbonara tastes even a little better in bed with the two of you in the middle of the night. But also as a midnight snack at the party when the last party guests are still hungry. It's lucky that it's made really quickly with our “Tasty Italy” broth. This way the party doesn't end and no one has to wait long for the hearty hit.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200ml Tasty Italy broth
  • 170g bacon
  • 60ml white wine
  • spaghetti
  • 4 eggs (additional eggs optional as topping)
  • Parmesan
  • nutmeg
  • Pepper salt

And so it goes:

  • Fry the bacon without oil until it is slightly crispy, in the meantime put on your pasta.
  • Then you can deglaze the bacon with the white wine and let it simmer briefly.
  • Now take the pan off the heat and whisk the eggs with our Tasty Italy broth. If you like, you can add a little salt and pepper to the mixture and season with nutmeg.
  • Reheat your bacon in the pan and add your cooked spaghetti and mix everything together well. It is particularly important that you now remove the pan from the heat and, if necessary, let it cool down a little, otherwise the egg-broth mixture will congeal.
  • Pour it over the pasta and immediately stir in the sauce. This makes it wonderfully creamy. As a little icing on the cake, you can also fry a fried egg or poach an egg. But it also tastes wonderful with a few flakes of Parmesan.
  • Use the remaining broth the next day for a delicious risotto, or reduce it to make a nice sauce.
