Vegan Tan Tan Men

The Japanese adaptation of Dandan noodle soup from China tastes wonderfully creamy, slightly spicy and mildly sweet. With our Tantan seasoning sauce and the Shoyu Ramen base, you can easily recreate the tasty noodle soup in no time, without any seasoning.

Ingredients:

  • 600g ramen noodles
  • fresh baby leaf spinach
  • Spring onions
  • 90ml Tantan seasoning sauce
  • 525ml Ramen Basic Shoyu Seaweed Mushroom
  • 2-3 tbsp chilli oil
  • Shiitake mushrooms
  • vegan sunflower hack

And so it goes:

  • Our vegan Tan Tan Men requires very little preparation time, and yet the end result is incomparably tasty. In the first step, put the sunflower mince in a bowl and let it swell according to the instructions on the package.
  • Then cook the ramen noodles in a little salted water until al dente and place in a bowl. At the same time, the Shoyu Ramen base can be gently heated in a pot, but do not let it boil. Stir in some Tantan seasoning sauce until the broth is evenly cloudy. Fry the sunflower mince in a little sesame oil and add it to the noodles. Pour broth into the bowl.
  • Use some fresh baby spinach, shiitake and spring onions as a topping. Then finish off with a few drops of chili oil. The vegan interpretation of the Japanese classic with roots in Szechuan is ready.
