A classic phở gà, or as we like to call it - pure happiness in a bowl - is not that difficult to prepare and tastes just as great at any time of the day or night! The soup kooks among you have probably already stashed one or two ingredients in your fridge.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 525ml Phở Basic bone broth
- 3 spring onions
- 1-2 tbsp fish sauce
- Salt pepper
- some soy sauce
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 bunch of coriander
- 1/2 bunch of Thai basil
- 1 lime
- 1 chili pepper

- Cut the spring onion into small rings and add to the phở. Season Phở Basic bone broth with 1-2 tablespoons of fish sauce, salt, pepper and a little soy sauce. We cook the chicken breast, preferably with skin, in the phở.
- While the soup is cooking, pick the coriander and Thai basil, cut the lime into eighths, cut the chili pepper, mix with the bean sprouts and distribute into large soup bowls or plates with the chicken breast meat.
- Then pour the broth over the ingredients in the soup bowls and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
