Every single olive is picked by hand; the leaves are sorted directly to achieve the mild taste that this oil stands for. In an oil mill, the essence of the olive is extracted purely mechanically and without any heat generation and filled into barrels. Filtration is logically out of the question, and so in beautiful Thuringia we ultimately receive the best quality that Italy has to offer. In our small factory we fill the oil into bottles and send it to you. The young oil tastes fresh, very fruity and slightly spicy. Productive and fantastic with just about anything you can think of.

Let's say it like it is: 2020 was pretty shit overall.
There's not much that could break the number. But there are things that went really fantastic this year too. For example, the olive harvest of our Italian friends Giovanni, Matilda and Dario.
The olive harvest has been celebrated as an event on the family farm for 10 generations and this year we wanted to spend our annual vacation right there in Abruzzo, at exactly that time. Well - and that brings us back to 2020. But so be it, we have at least secured a few barrels of the family's 100% Italian, mafia-free and purely artisanal olive oil and are bringing them here in a strictly limited edition (the olive grove isn't really big) among our customers. Anyone who has ever tried to get such olive oil in Germany knows that the Italians actually keep the good stuff for themselves.
