Ingredients for 2 people
- Burger Buns
- 300 g minced meat (half beef, half pork) OR vegan soya mince
- olive oil
- 1/2 onions
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- Dashi Umami fish stock (for deglazing)
- 1 can of tomatoes (finely chopped)
- Asian Mayonnaise
- Lettuce leaves
- Kimchi (to taste)
ZUBEREITUNG
- Halve the buns and toast them in a pan until slightly crispy. Set aside.
- Fry the minced meat in a pan with a little olive oil until it is brown and cooked through.
- VEGAN ALTERNATIVE: Soak your soy mince in dashi-umami fish stock!
- Peel the onions and cut into thin slices.
- Add the sliced onions to the fried minced meat.
- Add brown sugar and let everything caramelize briefly.
- Add fish sauce to the meat-onion mix and stir briefly.
- Deglaze with dashi and let it simmer briefly.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom of the prepared buns.
- Place a few lettuce leaves on the mayo.
- Pour a generous portion of the prepared sloppy sauce over the salad.
- Add some kimchi to finish and place the bun lid on top.
